Our people are the lifeblood of the Caroline Chisholm Library. Apart from our faithful members and donors, the Library would not exist without the generous service, dedication and imagination of our small but active community of volunteers.
Loans Desk Volunteers
The Caroline Chisholm Library’s front of house is its Loans’ Desk and this is the key hub of the Library’s character and daily activity. Our volunteers operate the Library’s loans, membership and cataloguing system, assist with phone and reference inquiries and generally offer welcome and support to members and visitors to the Library.
If you would already have some background in small Library operations and/or are interested to undertake some simple training and orientation in this vital part of the Library’s mission please email or phone us for further information.
